Why the shipping charge?

Bella Descanso is proud to be a regionally-based business and ensuring we are able to stay this way. However, this also means that unfortunately we don’t have access to the same shipping rates and volume-based savings offered by shipping providers when based in major cities and major regional areas. However, we are committed to keeping our shipping costs as low as possible and getting your items to you as quickly as possible, we therefore offer flat-rate domestic Express Post (Australia Post) for $10. 

Will the current Bella Descanso collection be available year-round?

No – but there’s good news! As one of the pillars of our brand is partnering with a variety of international artists to create unique exclusive prints, and because we believe in slow fashion, supply chain sustainability and reducing waste and excess items, we will only have a particular collection available for a set period. After which time there will be an exciting new collection to choose from. Occasional collections and limited editions may selectively be available on a recurring annual basis, however we aim to bring you a portfolio of wearable art and therefore aim to keep things visually interesting through carefully-selected variety.

Will your find our prints anywhere else?

Definitely not! The Bella Descanso prints are exclusive to our brand and you won’t find them anywhere else – they are unique to use. The prints have been developed through collaboration with a chosen Artist and our Creative Director and much effort and loves going into trying to bring striking, meaningful, colourful and glamorous prints to life that bring art to your home and luxury to our everyday.

WTF is ‘Sleep to Street’?

Our mantra of sleep to street is a motivation to find as much versatility in styling our luxury sleepwear as our imagination can come up with, to get as much enjoyment and value out of them as possible. We believe in adapting our individual pieces to suit different personal styles and a variety of situations, from edgy-cool street style to work-day smart, evening cocktails or even poolside resort wear. Don’t forget to tag us in your sleep to street looks – we love to see it!

Size & Fit Notes

Please refer to the individual size and fit notes on the product pages. If you have any questions about sizing, or are unsure of your size please don’t hesitate to contact us via contact@belladescanso.com.au as we are more than happy to assist, as our sizing can run a little small depending on your build. Please also ensure you’ve referred to and are familiar with Returns Policy prior to purchasing.

We are currently working on expanding our size range and are excited to offer increased variety and inclusivity going forward, and as we learn more about our lovely customers. How do Care for my Bella Descanso luxury satin?

We are committed to ensuring our products are made from high quality fabrics. However our fabrics are also delicate and require a bit of TLC. Please always follow the instructions on the care label, including-

• Only washing on a cold, gentle cycle (we recommend washing separately on the first wash)
• Do not bleach or use harsh soaking or stain removal agents
• Low, delicate tumble dry (we recommend cool setting only)
• Line or rack dry in shade
• Do no dry clean
• Cool iron only, with garment inside out, or gentle fabric steam
• Avoiding abrasive surfaces.

Our buttery soft luxury satin can snag quite easily, so please avoid abrasive or rough surfaces and sharp objects. We also recommend avoiding washing your Bella Descanso Sleepwear with garments which may have zippers or other possibly abrasive elements, to assist in conserving the fabric.

Important note: Please ensure you avoid coming into close proximity of heat, flames or chemicals at all times when wearing any of our items.

My Scrunchie is looking a bit flat, what should I do?

You may find that your scrunchie appears flat on arrival, after washing or when packed for travelling. If this occurs we recommend giving the scrunchie a light spitz of water, or washing on a cool gentle cycle, and popping it into the dryer on a COOL (only) short cycle to restore its shape.

Please note that our Biscayne scrunchies are prone to having a slightly flatter shape due to the increased colour pigment in the fabric.  

How are we working to increase our sustainability and decrease our footprint?

We take sustainability seriously and work to reduce the impact of our supply chain where possible. We are currently working towards transitioning all our packaging to be biodegradable or multi-use. We also endeavour to reduce waste and use our fabric offcuts to make accessories within our range. We aim to avoid overstocking and are mindful to release only a small number of collections annually to avoid oversupply and fast fashion practices.

We are proud to be a rurally-based business and aim to exhibit responsible stewardship and support rural communities where possible.
